11 Jun Tips #4 :: Consistency is the key
Be consistent in your PMP® Preparation. Studying regularly everyday is the key. Everyday, preferably at the same time, spend about on hour preparing for your PMP® Examination.
This is the best tip you will ever get.
The Hare and Tortoise story is one of the first ones we learn in our life.
The PMP® Examination questions are all about your experience as a project manager and what you have learnt from it!The more consistent you are, the earlier and more easily you will pass the examination. My observation is, the students who start preparing on Day-1 of the training, take very little time to prepare. We connect to the topics more readily when we read them immediately after the training. Once we are connected, it stays with us helping us get ready for the examination.
To pass easily and early, you need consistency and not collecting lot of books and lot of questions. You do not need all the material sitting there and waiting to be used. What you need is: CONSISTENCY. Preparing every day.
Start studying TODAY. Study for planned time everyday. If you do not get time on a particular day, DO NOT skip. Study for a little less time that day. Remember to log what you studied so that you can track it.
